How students connect themselves with stakeholders

On February 21, 16 friends of Sequoyah joined us for our first Creative Connections event. The crew of entrepreneurs, artists, non-profit leaders, government employees, and educators had a series of 5-minute flash conversations with juniors and seniors about their Impact Project work. These conversations gave students practice speaking about their approaches to tackling social and environmental issues of importance to them, while also giving guests a chance to offer cheerleading, advice, and introductions to people in their field.

Students and guests alike walked away feeling inspired by one another. We look forward to hosting the event in future years!
